Dr. Shirley Hartman, MD
Dr. Shirley Hartman combines the best of traditional medicine and science with acupuncture, nutrition, frequency-specific microcurrent, kinesiology (muscle testing), and Cranio-sacral therapy.
Her openness to alternative medicine began in the ’60s and 70’s when her mother (an Iowa farm wife) studied metaphysics.
Dr. Hartman majored in biochemistry and minored in nutrition at Iowa State University. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree in 1982 and completed her residency in 1985. She was board certified in Family Practice in 1985 and was re-certified in 1991, 1998 and 2005.
She received her acupuncture training in Jacksonville from 1985-1987. Acupuncture has remained an integral part of her practice since.

Robyn grew up in Orlando, FL, but relocated to Jacksonville, FL with her husband in 2017 to be closer to family.
